Got to fly across the pond to London with Chris Dooley for a whirlwind shoot. A brand new product release called Nuromol(Available in the UK and Poland). Supervised the shoot and had the pleasure of meeting/working with Dom Freeman (Producer), Tim Maurice-Jones (DP), and Terry McShane(AD). Was a talented crew in London, especially the art department. Some of the fastest in the biz. Thanks to all the peeps at Not To Scale for making it very comfortable under the time constraints we all had to get Nuromol done. That Indian food was KILLER! Thanks Dan! And of course the usual trustworthy and talented all-star 3d team as always. And my bro for the perfect keying and compositing. We had an extremely tight tight turn around timeCouldn’t ask for a better team.

Did another round of fun ESPNU work for National Television at the end of 2010. Only this time we made five full hallmarks in a record 6+ weeks. And I think it looks better than the first round! Another awesome 3d crew of peeps (some were from Kirby/Nintendo), who were dialed into the 3d pipeline and really banged out phenomenal work in such a short amount of time. “Kirby’s Epic Explosion” for Kirby’s Epic Yarn video game for the Wii
Fun spot with a fun crew @ Superfad.

Was on set for FX supervision and helped Darren assemble a really fun 3d team @ Superfad. My new favorite tool for on set supervision is the Hilti Laser Range Meter PD 40. This helped me gather precise corner-to-corner to film back measurements where its normally not possible. This laser measuring device, i believe, has a range of 650 ft. Lining up and recreating the backplates in 3d were a cinch.
The 3d team and I pulled a grueling 3+ weeks straight schedule until 1am to complete the spot on schedule.
Had the pleasure of meeting and working with Richard Hickey from the London Superfad office and Superfad’s new addition Nando Costa.

2009 was definitely the year of Realflow for me. I believe this Robitussin pitch was my third Realflow job of the year. Two too many in my opinion. This job went to the way-side for Imaginary Forces due to some communication problems with the client unfortunately.

Could have been a fun 3d project, but I’m probably thankful for not having to sit through another Realflow simulation. I swear I think i lost a few weeks of my life this year just waiting for fluid simulations.
