I was never really truly a big fan of Merlot’s until i had this.

Then again i probably never had a truly good Merlot. I always felt Merlot’s were overrated.

My good friend Rob Bollick of Ironclaw.tv turned me and my wife Honor to this wine when he stayed at our place for couple days while he did a week stint at Imaginary Forces.

We took it to the Hollywood Bowl while watching Beck from the front row in the right corner. (THANK YOU NATALIE AGAIN FOR THOSE TIX!)

Popped this badboy open and its was pure buttery yumminess. Its one of those wines you can drink all nite and wished you had another bottle.

Truly a great find.

Usually retails around $30.

Winmaker’s Notes:
Aromatics of ripe red cherry and sweet strawberry jam lead to flavors of rich red fruit, toasted almonds, dried thyme, and rosemary with a hint of black truffles. The firm tannic structure holds the melody of flavors together as a full-bodied mid palate carries through to a long finish complete with hints of licorice, black chocolate and orange peel.
